Workflow & Coordination Officer – Amsterdam

With a firm interest in entrepreneurship and renewable energy finance in Africa / other emerging markets | 4 or 5 days per week

Are you service-oriented, good at workflow management and coordination, with a fine eye for detail? Do you have a firm interest in entrepreneurship and the financing of renewable energy in emerging markets in Africa and beyond? Do you enjoy working within an international, closely-knit team? We are looking for a Workflow & Coordination Officer in Amsterdam.


Because of an increasing level of activities, we aim to expand the Amsterdam Coordination Team of the Finance Catalyst, a finance access facility of GET.invest. As Workflow & Coordination Officer you will be in charge of a variety of coordination, reporting, communication, administration and organisational tasks within the team, facilitating the 30+ team of financial advisors of the GET.invest Finance Catalyst. After a familiarisation period, you independently manage these tasks.


  • Reporting: retrieve and organise data from our database and from the advisory team for standardised reporting
  • Communication: generate data and prepare newsletters as well as ad hoc communications
  • Administration: update central database with inputs (emails, calls) from 30+ team members across the globe
  • Coordination of agenda of the Amsterdam team of 10 persons
  • Organisational tasks: general office management, jointly with colleagues

The GET.invest Finance Catalyst

The GET.invest Finance Catalyst and the other GET.invest market services link renewable energy projects and companies with finance opportunities and vice versa, currently in sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific region. The Amsterdam Coordination Team manages the global expert team of the GET.invest Finance Catalyst, handles programme administration and monitoring, and reports to GET.invest.

Your profile

You have demonstrated that you are good at workflow management and coordinating. You are well-organised, good at setting priorities and maintaining overview and you have a fine eye for detail. You are service-oriented, communicative and solution-oriented and meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor or Master diploma in a relevant field e.g. Economics, Business Administration or Project Management
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in workflow and coordination activities at an international level
  • Firm interest in business models and financing of renewable energy in Africa and other emerging markets
  • Previous exposure to working in Africa or in other emerging and developing economies
  • Profound English language skills required for handling high-level professional interactions and detailed documentation (CEFR, proficient user, level C2)
  • Living in the Amsterdam region, available for at least 3 days a week presence in the office
  • Work permit valid for the Netherlands
